Due to an overwhelming interest in the Awana program, we are not accepting any more registrations for children in 3rd – 6th grades. If interested, please check back from time to time for spots that may have opened up. All other clubs are still accepting clubber registrations.

What does A.W.A.N.A stand for?
Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed
The name Awana is an acronym that is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. – 2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV)
Awana is a Bible-based youth program for kids 2 years old through the 12th grade. It is organized with the purpose of reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him.
The emphasis is on Bible memorization and FUN!
We offer the following clubs:
Puggles – Age 2
Cubbies – Ages 3 & 4
Sparks – Grades K through 2
T&T – Grades 3 through 6
Trek – Grades 7 & 8
Journey – Grades 9 through 12
What can my children expect?
The children learn and memorize the Word of God, play exciting games and earn awards for their hard work. They develop lasting relationships and learn teamwork, sportsmanship and healthy competition.
What are the activities for my children?
Our Awana evenings are broken into three main components:
Large Group, Small Group, and Game Time.
Large Group
Clubbers come together as a group as they learn the verse for the night. A Bible lesson is presented, helping the clubbers learn more about God through stories and acting.
Small Group
Clubbers meet with their leaders as they explain more about the verse of the night and the meaning of that verse as well as memorization of the verse, and any questions that the clubbers may have are answered.
Our Club
Every year we celebrate the achievements all of our clubbers with a closing ceremony. It is a time great anticipation and joy as each individual child is recognized for his or her achievement in the program.
Many of our clubbers graduate from the program earning their Citation Award. This is the highest award that can be earned in Awana. This is given to high school seniors who complete 10 years of Awana curriculum – third through 12th grade..
Special Events
Awana activities extend beyond weekly meetings. Special events include Scholarship Camp, Bible Quizzing and Grand Prix just to name a few of the year-round exciting activities..
Are my children safe?
We are committed to your child’s safety! We require all volunteers in our children’s ministries to undergo a formal background check and child safety training.
NOTE:
The Ministry Director, Pastor, and/or Board of Elders reserve the right AT ANY TIME to decline participation by any persons asking to participate in ANY FBC activity.
ATTENTION!
